**This is a fictional web site. It is based on my NBA 2K10 Association with my created team, The Las Vegas Spades. All of the stories are fictional and are only truthful to my Association in NBA 2K10.

All of my players were selected directly from the free agent pool to be a more challenging Association. Enjoy!

(Las Vegas) - The San Antonio Spurs have dropped their players and decide to call it quits in the NBA. NBA officials and their committees have decided that Las Vegas will be starting an expansion team in the NBA known as the Spades! Team Colors have been decided as Black/ White/ and Lime Green. They have completed their signing requirements and now have a full roster to start up the 2009-2010 NBA season.

Game 1 - November 7th, 2009 : Spades at Thunder
*Westbrook shines as Thunder stomp on Spades*
-Oklahoma City, OK-
Russell Westbrook scored 11 points and dished out a career high 19 assists as the Oklahoma City Thunder crushed the Las Vegas Spades 108-89. Kevin Durant had 29 points and James Harden added 24 points of his own to help the Thunder's cause. It was the franchise opener for the Las Vegas Spades. Their only bright spot seemed to be Anthony Tolliver who scored a career best 26 points in 27 minutes of action.

Game 2 - November 26th, 2009 : Spades at Nuggets
*Nuggets crush Spades after close first half*
-Denver, CO-
Carmelo Anthony scored 29 points and had 8 assists as Denver rolled by Las Vegas 131-98. J.R. Smith also chipped in with 21 points and Ty Lawson had 21 pts and 8 ast off of the bench for Denver. Joey Graham had a career high 29 points in the loss for the Spades. The Spades drop to (0-2) in their expansion season.

Game 3 - December 1st : 76ers at Spades
*Igoudala scorches Spades as Sixers roll to easy win*
-Las Vegas, NV-
Andre Igoudala dropped 35 points on 14/22 fg (4/6 3pt) as the Philadelphia 76ers beat the Las Vegas Spades in their home opener 105-80.The game featured the Spades being up by 3 at halftime, but a lopsided second half proved to be too much for the Spades. Sebastian Telfair, a recent acquisition from the Clippers in a trade for Lou Williams, hooked up with Igoudala all game long and ended up with 12 assists in his 76ers debut. Jerry Stackhouse had 27 points in a losing effort for Las Vegas. The Spades have now dropped to (0-3) in their expansion season.

Game 4 - December 4st : Spades at Bucks
*Spades finally play their cards right with a true team effort*
-Milwaukee, WI-
Finally, the Spades have got the monkey off of their backs. Jerry Stackhouse and Richard Hendrix each had 19 points in Milwaukee to help lead the winless Spades to their first victory in their expansion season over the Milwaukee Bucks 80-75. Hendrix's 19 point set a new career high. The game featured superior defense from both clubs, including a Las Vegas holdup that limited the Bucks to 8 points in the third quarter. Michael Redd knocked in 20 points in the loss for the Bucks. The expansion Spades now improve to (1-3) in 2009-2010.

Game 5 - December 6st : Spades at Bulls
*Hendrix nears triple double as Spades spoil Bulls*
-Chicago, IL-
Richard Hendrix barely missed a triple double and Jerry Stackhouse had 30 points in 29 minutes as the Spades beat the Bulls 100-96. Richard Hendrix set career highs in points, rebounds, assists and minutes. Derrick Rose led the Bulls with 22 points and 15 assists. This win marks a 2 game winning streak for the Spades, both of which came on the road in Milwaukee and now Chicago. The Spades have improved their record to (2-3).

*Mo too much for Spades to handle in Las Vegas*
-Las Vegas, NV-
Maurice "Mo" Williams scored 34 points and had 9 assists as the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Las Vegas Spades 123-100 in Vegas. Anthony Parker also chipped in with a season high 21 pts. The Cavaliers were without Lebron James who was injured with a lower back strain. The Cavaliers shot an astonishing 71% from 3 point range during the contest. Jerry Stackhouse led the Spades with 23 points. The Spades fall to (2-4) in 09-10'.

Swift Demands Trade, Sent to Oklahoma City
-December 12th, 2009-
Following Friday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Stromile Swift broke NBA policy by publicly asking for a trade post-game to the media. Swift said "I don't belong in an organization this bad, especially to sit on the bench. I want to be traded as soon as possible." He was fined $25,000 by the NBA and received his wish. He was sent to the Oklahoma City Thunder for a 2010 second-round pick and cash considerations. Stromile Swift was averaging 5.7 PPG with the Spades this season.

*Howard dominates inside as Magic get easy win*
-Las Vegas, NV-
Dwight Howard had himself an MVP-like performance against Las Vegas. He had 31 points, 18 rebounds, 5 assits, 4 steals, and 3 blocks as the Magic embarrassed the Spades at their Las Vegas home 103-82. Vince Carter also put in 25 points for the Magic. Richard Hendrix led the frustrated Spades with 18 points. The Spades are now (2-5) in 2009-2010.

Chris Paul was unstoppable on this night. Paul had 28 points, 17 assists, and 3 steals. Also contributing to the New Orleans' 106-89 victory was Emeka Okafor with 16 points, 12 rebounds, and 6 assists. Leading the Spades attack was Joey Graham with 25 points. The Spades have now dropped to (2-6) this season.
